JIKOSHA’S RIBBON BLENDER is an efficient and versatile blending machine for homogeneous mixing of dry granules & powders. The Ribbon Blender gives best result for mixing of dry powder & granules due to the design and shape of the mixing ribbon and the product container.
Machine description:
It consists of a horizontal U – shaped trough & double ribbons.
The inner and outer ribbons are so arranged that during rotation, the material reaches each and every corner of the trough and imparts radial and linear motion to the whole of the material to be mixed. At the same time material is moved from side of the trough to the centre and vise versa resulting in thorough mixing across the entire cross – section of the blender.
In addition to radial mixing, the outer ribbons axially move the material towards discharge port, while the inner ribbons move the material in the opposite direction.
Efficient shaft sealing arrangement with Teflon & glands packing is provided to ensure that the fine powder does not leak out.
Size of the trough & speed of the shaft is so designed so that the powder does not spray out & achieves fast mixing & gentle product handling, resulting in highly homogeneous mixing in extremely short mixing time
Optional features
- Jacketed arrangement for heating or cooling applications can be provided.
- Spray nozzles for spraying of additives can be provided.
- Limit switch can be provided for safe operation so that the machine automatically stops if the cover is opened during the operation.
- Hopper, inspection gate, center or end discharge & other accessories can be provided to suit your custom requirement.
- Machine can be provided in M.S./ S.S. 304/ S.S. 316. & GMP models can also be provided.
