Ball Mill
JIKOSHA’S BALL MILL is designed for mixing cum grinding of wet & dry powders effectively. Ball mill is one of the oldest & safest methods for grinding & mixing of wide variety of materials.
Machine description:
Ball Mill consists of a cylindrical shell rotating on a horizontal axis mounted on a strong channel stand. The shell is designed to withstand the rotational load of the mill charged with the grinding medium and the material to be processed. Openings are provided through which the grinding medium & the material to be processed can be loaded and discharged.
Grinding media :
The grinding media is generally spherical or cylindrical in shape manufactured from suitable quality steel. Balls or rods are provided ranging from 6 mm to 100 mm in size.
Drive system :
The mill is driven by electric motor directly coupled to the reduction gear - box with chain drive or through V – Belt. Complete gear driven system can also be provided.
Optional features :
- Ball mill can be provided in various grades of steel with or without rubber lining.
- Jacketed arrangement for heating or cooling applications can be provided.
- Custom – designed to suit your requirements.
- Laboratory model of 5 litres capacity is also available.
